Brown Bag Parenting Education is a free, self-paced course of practical tips and techniques for parents and caregivers in the state of Delaware.

The course covers core, effective parenting skills to nurture children of all ages, including:

  • Teaching mutual respect
  • The power of encouragement
  • Successful communication skills
  • Nonviolent discipline techniques

Lessons are filled with activities and opportunities for discussion between family members. With these tips, you will be sure to make parenting decisions with confidence. 

This online course allows you to complete the lessons wherever and whenever you would like, and review past lessons as often as you need. You will be a more confident parent after completing the Brown Bag Parenting course!

You will earn a certificate upon successful completion of all eight quizzes.

Brown Bag is approved by the State of Delaware Division of Health and Human Services for TANF clients as a parenting education course for parents, guardians, and caregivers of children under the age of 18.
