Speaker's Bureau
Master Gardeners are available to speak at libraries, garden clubs, schools, and civic organizations on topics such as accessible gardening, native plants, seed starting, growing vegetables, herb gardens, etc. Speakers may use slide shows, PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations, or hands-on activities. Day, evening, virtual, and weekend programs may be available, depending upon speaker availability.
Topics available vary based on the master gardener speakers available in the area and their areas of expertise, but some popular topics are:
• Putting Your Garden to Bed in the Fall
• Container Gardening
• Watering for a Healthy Landscape
• Gardening with Native Plants
• Gardening Smarter, Not Harder
• Growing Great Tomatoes
• Growing Peppers
