Students
The College of Agriculture, Science and Technology has an integrated mission of teaching, research and outreach (extension) that provides an experiential education for students and research-based educational programs for Delaware residents. Within the College, student involvement in research and the cooperative extension carries importance in the scope of their education. More than 92 percent of the College’s faculty are involved in research, which creates an outstanding opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students alike to partner with research faculty.

Graduate Students
Graduate students will work closely with the faculty in their fields of study and interact with local specialists from federal and state agencies and organizations including NOAA, DNREC, USDA-ARS and the Delaware Department of Agriculture to gain vital knowledge and experience.

Undergraduate
Undergraduate students will receive a superior education from faculty and staff who are experts in their fields and involved in research relevant to today’s world; the College also maintains an outreach education component through Cooperative Extension for the citizens of Delaware.
