The College of Agriculture, Science and Technology has an integrated mission of teaching, research and outreach (extension) that provides an experiential education for students and research-based educational programs for Delaware residents. Within the College, student involvement in research and the cooperative extension carries importance in the scope of their education. More than 92 percent of the College’s faculty are involved in research, which creates an outstanding opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students alike to partner with research faculty.
Students are encouraged to get involved with clubs that pique their interest. Joining clubs makes lifelong connections that are beneficial personally and professionally.
Prospective students are invited to schedule a tour to learn more about programs within the College of Agriculture and Related Sciences.
Graduate students will work closely with the faculty in their fields of study and interact with local specialists from federal and state agencies and organizations including NOAA, DNREC, USDA-ARS and the Delaware Department of Agriculture to gain vital knowledge and experience.
