If you miss picking fresh fruits and vegetables from your garden, no need to wait for spring! Join us to learn about the benefits of soil-free hydroponic gardening, types of hydroponic designs, and what plants will do well grown hydroponically in your home. We will talk about how to construct your own garden, supplies you will need, and offer tips for beginners. Participants will assemble and plant a basic hydroponic container.

Please bring clippers, floral knives and any tools you use to start the celebrations with beautiful looks and holiday scents.

We will talk about soil composition and texture, nutrients, soil pH, organic matter, and microorganisms living in your soil. We will discuss soil testing, learn to interpret the soil test report and find out how to use this information to improve the health of your soil. Finally, we will review things you can do to protect this precious resource.
