Make a Succulent Picture Frame

Would you like to bring a small piece of the green world inside? Sign up to make a succulent picture frame art piece. This will be a hands-on fun experience, and participants will walk away with a beautiful living keepsake. Participants will need to bring their own 5” X 7” X 2” thick picture frame. Plants and other materials will be provided for a fee of $10 per person. Please bring a heavy-duty pair of scissors and a glue gun if you have one.

Cover crops have long been used in agriculture but can also be implemented in smaller home gardens. Also known as “green manure,” these powerhouse plants offer many benefits to garden soils. Learn about these benefits, how and when to incorporate cover crops in your garden plan, and how to select the right crop for your needs.

If you feed birds, you are in good company. More than 50 million Americans provide food for wild birds. This workshop will discuss ways to grow food for birds as well as using and making bird feeders that will keep the birds happy all winter. All materials will be included.
