Spring ephemerals

Thursday, March 12, 2026, 1:00-2:00 PM EST FREE – Hybrid ZOOM/in-Person UD Paradee Center 69 Transportation Blvd. Dover, DE  19901  Beverly Gemmill, Kent County Master Gardener

Ephemerals are native plants that bloom in wooded areas in early spring. These plants bloom and must set seed before the trees leaf out and while there is still enough sunlight hitting the forest floor. If you routinely walk in wooded areas this time of year, you have probably seen some of them.  Come to this class and see many more and learn where to purchase and how to grow these lovely early spring blooms.
