Family & Consumer Sciences

DSU Extension’s Family and Consumer Sciences Program covers a broad array of issues affecting everyday life. We offer programs on nutrition, food safety and health. 

Our research-based educational programs address parenting, childcare, family economic stability and stress management. Programs in this area will strengthen the capacity of families to nurture, support and guide their members throughout their lives.
