RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research lies at the intersection of applied mathematics, data science, and biomedical research. I develop mathematical modeling and scientific machine learning methods for understanding complex biological and clinical systems, with particular emphasis on determining what can be reliably learned from data and quantifying uncertainty in model predictions. My work includes applications in infectious diseases, clinical prediction, and computational neuroscience.
