Talaysha Lingham, graduate student under the tutelage of Professor Lee in the Food Science program, received a second place award in poster presentation titled “The Study of the Antimicrobial Activity from Vinegar on Bacteria Species” at the DSU 2012 Graduate Research Symposium poster.

Professor Lee received the “DSU The Faculty Excellence Award for Research” in 2014.

 

biotech food camp

Professor Lee developed “the Summer Food Biotechnology Camp” for high school students. High school students in Delaware participated in the 2015 summer camp and had an opportunity of hands-on experience in basic food microbiology and molecular biology.
